More on getting inspired...

I have a wonderful time trying to design table settings that are unique and tasteful. I get inspired by color schemes from the world around me. The table you set has very much to do with the guest you invite and the mood you are trying to create.

This valentine's I have been very much inspired by the new line of bedding we have introduced to PFR Design. Our collections from Bella Notte Linens are not only beautiful, they evoke the romance, the comfort and the modern simple quality that we all crave. Be it lace, velvet, crisp cotton or soft linen the world of Bella Notte is divine.

The inspiration comes form the OLIVIA lace Collection from Bella Notte...

I have included some pictures here that are helping me shape the look and feel I am going for this year.

I will be celebrating two ways this year. One celebration will be a quiet evening with my husband where we always try a new recipe!

The other will be a wine and cheese buffet style party for 15 ladies, with finger foods and much Proseco!

These are the pictures that are inspiring me at the moment...

soft pink-perhaps for flowers.
White- as the first layer for the table cloth.
Black lace-as an overlay for the white tablecloth.

I have not yet decided if I want to use hints of antique gold, (PFR Design antique tabletop collections) or leave it clean and crisp with clear Juliska stemware.

There is still a lot to decide but I am looking forward to including many more photos to show Valentines table 2011 from start to finish!

xoxo
